NEWT, I love it when the river is that high, except when I`m at work... I`ll take advantage of it and hit every feeder creek & stream I can. The fish will hightail it up them for relief from the mud & current. Then it`s almost like fishing out of a barrel...LOL RONAN

I read the press release, does this mean that lead sinkers have been banned in England since 87 ??? Here in the states, they tried a similar act by pressuring both the sinker makers and the shotgun shell makers to go with a substitute. I know that you can easily purchase lead sinkers, and some manufacturers are offering a steel substitute. The shotgun shell makers offer a steel shot which has come under a lot of fire for not having the range ??? or pattern ??? that lead has. BUT, there is no ban on lead yet, in the states, that I`m aware of ??? RONAN
