Some great shots added, just a few comments on them: - Peter Mc, those daffs look superb, as Den says, great lighting. Frantic, I agree with Den re. Wood Anemonies, BTW - has that tractor got a full service history? Mc Fudge, great series of photos I'd love to photo a fox, did you take that shot, or is that you in it? & the Pike are beauties, although they fight like reeling in a house brick don't they? Alnath, I photo'd my first Peacock of the year today, it's not as good as your one though - cracking shot.

Well spotted/pointed out Jeepster, the tree & the squirrel do seem to blend into one another, 'tis a fine shot though Ollie, as for the other, I'm not getting a calming mill pond feeling off the two guys rowing. Tubularbelle mentioned this clip on the photography forum, so I thought I'd come & take a look. Well thats three minutes of my life I'll never get back , very weird. This ones an old one but fave of mine. Clicky TB - re Wolf Creek, you're right about it being disturbing, it even made my missus look up from her book & say "What on earth is this you're watching" Also I took my ex-missus to see The Hills Have Eyes back in the late seventies & nearly jumped out of my skin. I recently acquired it on DVD expecting to be equally on the edge of my seat watching it, but, a bit like me, it hasn't aged too well. Hopefully the revamped version will be worth watching.

Hang on CJ, I'm getting confused. So did you get the wedding ring or not? Or was it the wedding ring that cost £50quid & you thought sod it & bought a step up ring for your camera @ £3.99 instead?? Thanks to all for your kind words. TB - He didn't know I was taking it, I was quite a distance away photographing birds using telephoto lens, but I'd spotted this guy & thought I'd snap off a couple of shots. I'll be going back to the same spot shortly, in the unlikely event I see him there (assuming a croc hasn't got him) I'll tell him I've got a decent shot of him - he'll be thinking he's got a stalker. Medwaygreen, was that taken at Medway by any chance, I don't know the area at all, is it the Thames Estuary??? It certainly looks like a very low tide.

Maybe they're all one & the same person, you know like Michael & Latoya Jackson . Den, Ok so Daffs/lambs/bunnies etc are associoated with spring, but surely they also have an association with easter? Possibly more so to many these days than the religous connotation? I'll just add that my fave of the easter comp pics was Jans Memorial to others at Easter time.

Nice one dan , OK, I shouldn't laugh. It took a little bit of studying your shot, but you can indeed see an imprint, I bet that smarted. Ayjay, I tried to get a similar Swallow shot a few times today, but before I could take aim & fire they had spotted me & taken flight. Severus, the wild Mustangs look magnificent, nice one. & I'm with Jan, that last flower of Bobj's has definitely got some giraffe in there. Here's my POTD, I was hoping to photo a Kingfisher today, this chap was the closest I came.

Well done to all who entered & good luck to the finalists. This is the first comp I've not entered, which I'm annoyed with myself about, I took several shots with the comp in mind, but they were all crap so I didn't have anything worth entering.

I'd be up for it Steve & I'm sure my good lady would come along. We were in the lakes walking just over a week ago, I wouldn't have minded picking your brains then re. how you get such terrific landscape shots. It's only an hours drive for us, but a night in a B&B sounds good, an evening meal & a few pints etc etc. Cheers Cliff

As it's partly your fault (& that Gillies because of the terrific bird pics he posts) that I've finished up spending over a grand on a new camera & an assortment of lenses, I think I'll leave you to tell your missus as I don't recall you offering to smooth things over with mine. Cracking shot of the foal BTW. Peter - I hope you tried to rescue this fella before he was carried off by that Eagle? Great action shot & it looks a good location for a day out, that's going on my list of places to visit.

TB, your huge Tuna photo brought to mind an old piccy of mine taken probably 12-15 years or so ago. I think it could be used as the bait to catch the bait to catch that Tuna, & the less said about the jazzy top I'm wearing the better, was was I thinking when I bought that.

TB - Now that is one big Tuna, my cats wouldn't know where to start with that. Judy, some cracking images there, looks like an interesting day out. NorfolkDan - a couple of good poses with your Canada geese, but can't you turn that pesky date thingy off? Dan - love the bridge & weir, a beautiful location. My POTD, sorry, but it's another birding one.
