  2. 14/08/05 Tayport Harbour , Fife , Scotland Bait:Herring Weather: Overcast , Light Wind Fish caught: 6 Was going out last night but Brian's ex was to drunk to take his kids so decided to go out myself today. Arrived at Tayport casted out my rods slow at start but caught my first flounder a small one , then things went quiet again . Just as i was away to drink my tea both rids went a flounder on the first and silver eel on the other forgot how slimy they were. A few mins later another flounder bites were coming in fast, then i caught my 4th flounder followed by my second eel . Then a few small boats came in and i noticed a group of people they were some away to swim from Tayport to Broughty Ferry the otherside, so decided to pack up as it was getting crowded at harbour.

  19. 09/07/05 Oban - Scotland Weather: Low cloud drizzle with occasional bright patches Bait:Mackerel , Herring Fish caught: 22 Went camping for the weekend with wee lass & oldest son, Brian & his kid. We went fishing weather was bright but cloud was low , just casted out my first rod when a nice little bite my first dogfish of the year , i was 4 up before brian caught his first , then i got a cracker of a bite but lost it in the weed far heavier than any dogfish i caught so far . Weather got worse typical but it was not cold but bites kept coming as did the dogfish ,by 2 hrs we notched up 15 dogfish between us. Brian then had a cracker of a bite but he lost it in the weed as well , we still kept getting dogfish by the time we finished our session we had myself 14 dogfish , Brian 8 dogfish. We returned later to give a try for mackerel but with the rest of them down there no luck but the biggest dogfish wieghed 2.5lb not bad at all

  21. 28/06/05 Riverside Drive , Dundee Weather: sunny , slight wind Bait: herring , mackerel Fish Caught: 12 Arrived at wall started to fish as Brian late again , plenty of bites tide running fast . Never got my first flounder until Brian arrived 40 mins later, it was followed by my 2nd.Brian just casted out when i caught another 2 flounders.15 mins later brian caught 2 flounders on 1 rig , i caught my 5 th at the same time. As the tide slowed down so did the bites but i caught my 6th & Brian caught his 3rd 10 mins before high water, bang on high water i had a classic trout bite and i caught a 2lb sea trout, the bites started as the the tide started to ebb i caught my 7th then Brian caught his 4th , i caught my 8th and final fish another flounder. not a bad session all my fish were caught on mackerel. vist my website for upto date reports

  23. 25/06/07 Riverside Drive , Dundee Weather: Fair , slight wind Bait: Herring , Peeler Fish Caught: 10 Arranged to meet at wall at 4 pm with Brain who asked to go today , but needed to get a new washing first so he had the bait , arrived down there 20 mins late no sign he turned up a hour late as usual with the same excuse a long story. First cast a small flounder for me followed by another second cast. Bites were coming every cast but bait was being ripped off caught another flounder about 15mins later followed by another,Brian still had no fish nor bite then his son caught a flounder just under a pound away to take a pic and my batteries were dead i charged them up night before " kids with gameboys took em" , his son caught another a few mins later. Brian finally had a bite a double hitter , then i caught a small flounder, then everything went quiet over high water soon as the tide started to move bites started but no luck Brian caught the last flounder at the death. Most of the flounders were caught on herring as Brian froze the peeler whole.
