  1. mate i have a perciption gemini and there is a hold area at the back. it has two drainage holes in it so it keeps the fish fresh, i then cover it with a wet cloth. At the end of the session i simply gut the fish where i am, using the salt water to clena the fish. hope this helps. kelvin

  6. Hi, i was out on the kayak today and cuaght p[lenty of macky so i tryed live baiting for bass. i didnt have any joy, so was woundering whats the best way of rigging and presenting live macky??? Also when using the fish finder i can see plenty of fish on it, but still dont catch, is this simply because im using the wrong bait. Also most of the fish showed in the top layers of water within 8 feet pf surface(fishing in 30ish foot of water), whats the best way in targeting these fish. Im using a eagle cuda 128, has anyone else got experience of this finder, and if so what are the best settings???? ps my brother fouls hooked a 8lb thorny on a mackeral trace today lol, it was good fun seeing him reel that in on light tackle lol, just to see the hook link brake at the side of the boat. The poor sode was heart broken lmao kelvin

  14. me and my bro went down aberavon fishing off the kayak today, no fish but what a great laught lol. give up on the fish after a couple of hours so tryed kayak surfing lol, what a laught thge subn shining and water not to cold. great day. kelvin

My plan is to go out with my bro for a couple of hours tomorrow. we will be fishing of the kayak into a shallow beach. i was thinking should i get smal rag worm and try that or just try sping for bass for a bit. i know there are plenty of schoolies off the shore into the breakers(lol only about a foot big). any ideas, i am yet to get fish finder, hopefully ill get one tuesday so this should help. kelvin

  18. im going to buy a cheapish fish finder, next week and what like some advice on models, installation etc. is there a way that i can detatch the fish finder while transtation, and also how do i recharge the battery??? thanks, kelvin
  19. sorry mate i dont know much about that area however i know a bit about loughor and i seriously wouldnt concider launching or fishing from a kayak there are the estuary has one of the largesdt tidal runs in wales. sorry for the lack of info mate, kelvin
