sorry double post I went today to a small river in kent with a light small 6 foot rod i yoused a small float and spam or luncheon meat as some would call it .... I stalked the river looking for bigish fish as soon as i seen them i fed them a few cubes untill they where taking with confidance then chucked my bait out i caught 8 in total the smallest was about a pound and the biggest was 3 pound becauce my little boy made me weigh it , i only had about 2 hours fishing but a good bit of fun..... you will find if you see a shoal of chub and feed tjhem a bit they are very compatative and when they start your in

i fished that stretch near thames road a few years back got a 3 and a half pound perch and loads of decent roach there but i heard it got pulluted a a couple of year back and i dont know if its recoverd that was the thames road stretch i also caught a couple of the funny looking mitton crabs with furry claws. im off tomorrow to south darenth gona fish the river there i walked the banks today loads of nice chub perch and some decent size jack pike so ill have a bit of fun tomorrow with the kids

Just wondering if any of you fellows have fished this spot just behind the asda's , if so whats the best bait and method to use and what am i likly to catch thanks.

david mate we both have differnt veiws, but what you do not understand it is swings and round abouts, those perthetic antis put hunters faces on there anti websites thats why they know who to stalk and follow, so i suppose its swings and round abouts. one more thing the manament of those hunting forums take no resposability for any pics put up, thats part of the agreement when you sign up with them.

i live near dartford ,my local tackle shop sells oil called ( mighty ming oil ) please beleive me it mings i pour this over my dead baits and in there mouths before i cast out. when you have cast you can see an oil slick come to the surface, i find this works very well once them pike come across a drifting slick the follow it all the way home tryed and tested with good results ( MIGHTY MING OIL ) tackle box dartford kent
