    rod whipping

If you want to whip on your own rings, it's not that hard. I made several rods myself years ago, and discovered that whipping is in fact easy.
  3. Definately not. If I had an anti-tank weapon handy when I see trawlers scraping up what's left of the Sole 200yds off Dungeness beach in the summer, at night, I would sink the B******S.
  4. No, the NHS isn't mad, it's the managers that are mad.
  5. These have been going around for years. They make me laugh.
  6. Just proves that women go manky long before men do. Change the old model in for a younger one is the best policy. My wife is twenty two years younger than me!
  7. Yup, I'm an athiest too! demon [ 07. August 2005, 09:19 PM: Message edited by: MLD ]
  8. I have been an angler for 40 years. I used to catch plaice, sole, flounders without any problems. Now, I hardly ever see one. As far as I am concerned, that means that these species are vanishing. Don't care what anyone else says, that is the reason. These fish are very scarce compared to twenty or so years ago. The main reason is overfishing by greedy grabbing couldn't give a stuff about the future as long as they rake in the money now, commercial fishermen.
  9. Vanishing species ,Sole, Plaice, Flounder, Cod, Coalfish, Bass.
  10. Iv'e beem to Gurnard Pines, many years ago. The entertainment was very good then. Phone a local tackle shop for marks.
  11. Thanks chaps, only had limited time to fish, and only took my spinning gear.
  12. Just had a week fishing St Helens bay area at Nodes Point. Wading out up to my waist spinning over rocks and weed beds, evening fishing on the bottom with tiger prawns and mackerel. 6 days fishing two or three hours per session. Not a bite! [ 07. 13. Now that would be scary! Never seen three owls at once, must be a world record.
