how about this one i was fishing away when the owner came up to me & asked did i smoke i replied yes i do would you like a roll up.NOhe said im just sick of people throwing dump's in the water to which i said i dont blame you i pointed out mine by my feet & he went off on one so i told him i would pick them up at the end of the day& put in the bin with all my other rubbish.so he pointed out can't you put them away now & i said yes if it makes you feel better & he said there are plenty of corn & meat tins lying about whitch was true along with all sorts of rubbish i had to smile as he was only cocerned about ciggy buts lying around whats that all about. :mad:

thanks jeepster i'll check my spool's and the braid box i must sound like a right divvy but im still learning. as for braid it just seem's to be the nexed step for big carp cheers. merlino

can anybody tell me how to convert braid into nylon it's the size i mean e.g if i bought 15lb braid is it the same as 15lb nylon but would'nt strech & would i be able to get more or less or the same on a spool does that make any sense

if you join a libary like me you can get all sorts of fishing book's. some good some not so good but worth a look all the same.

sad world we live in give them tazzers & mace at least they might of had a chance if one kept them coverd while the other checked there documents merlino

first of all im brummie born & bread.now living in geordie-land my only advice to you would be stay in pembrokeshire. seriousley half an hour from the center'day-ticket water' the place to be is salford park under spaggeti junction just off litchfield road.im 53 & fished it as a kid so you could do worse. tight lines merlino
