I forgot to post this the last time Elton asked about lead making.I use one of these to melt and pour the lead in a safe and controlled manner. You can usually find them lurking in charity shops or at carboot sales.Just take the lid off,cut away the strainer and you are ready to go.Last year 300 kilos of lead were processed in this manner.
