  1. Cods obviously never heard of the "Swedish derogation" which seems to be a popular option for a lot of companies wanting to use cheap foreign labour. Or as you say with the farm labour where accommodation is provided and then the cost taken from their wage.
  2. Try here http://thevintagekitchenstore.co.uk/en/slicing-chopping/87-brea.html Or search vintage bread knife on ebay
  3. Well there are a few other saws with shorter handles available on that site in a variety of styles I'm sure at least one would work, no problem at chopping up frozen fish and meat either
  4. How about one of these then https://www.surtex-instruments.co.uk/langenbeck-amputation-saw Has multiple uses apart from bread
  5. Maybe something like this http://www.fiddlebowbreadknives.co.uk/products
  6. Only the phones ability to read (ha ha ha) as your link clearly states leeds has a population of 780,000 and the West Yorkshire urban area one of 1.8 million (leeds is indeed part of this but so are the cities of Bradford and Wakefield) not That leeds has a population of 1.8 million as you posted. It's a bit like me claiming New York city has a population of 19.5million when actually that's New York state the city has a population of roughly 8.5million.
  7. I very much doubt it's anywhere near doubled in two years, in fact gozzer claimed it had doubled in 15 which is possible. No idea where phone got his numbers unless he's mistaking leeds for the West Yorkshire urban area which does indeed have a population of roughly 1.8 million but also includes Bradford and Wakefield amongst other places.
  8. Not sure where you get your figures phone, most estimates I've seen for the population of Leeds are around the 800,000 mark no where near 1.8 million
  9. Birmingham has the same issues but biggerhttps://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/local-news/british-white-people-set-become-14830628.amp And https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/west-midlands-population-growing-23000-12025620.amp And with a similar population density to Leeds of around 10,500 per sq mile
  10. Teachers apparently hopefully not physics/chemistry teachers though.

    Ebola

As I say just curious as I couldn't find estimated numbers for north American Indians around the figures you posted only for central (mexico) and as I say smallpox and other such niceties were introduced into the Americas by the Spanish not the English (although the Norse may have bought it in even earlier but there are no records of this).Measles, whooping cough and others were also effective at reducing their populations I did find this referenced in one article though "In North America, the Native population is estimated to range from two to 18 million during the time Columbus arrived. By the end of the 19th century, it had fallen to roughly 530,000"

I'm curious as to where you get your figures from, I know there was a massive population collapse of around 20 million over about 50 years in Mexico from about 1520 - 1576 which has been attributed to various diseases (including smallpox) brought in by the Spanish(not the English although I know we get the blame for everything). But the only estimates I've found in North American Indians come from the "smallpox winter" of 1837 - 38 where the estimates range from 17500 - 150,000 dependent upon source.
  14. More riddling and potting on to do today, couldn't waste time watching royal paint dry yesterday too much to do.
  15. Been out in the greenhouse planting chillies and riddling compost, did I miss something.
  16. Got far better things to be doing like watching paint dry.
  17. Obviously got too much spare time on their hands.
  18. Could be kurobuta pork but they are usually kept in good conditions https://www.google.com/amp/www.foodrepublic.com/2013/01/25/what-is-kurobuta-pork/amp/
  19. I know I shouldn't but I couldn't resist casting a little bait out and it looks like it was snapped up
  20. Looks like someone may have been prone to a small dose of exaggeration https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/project-fears-brexit-predictions-were-wrong-by-£100-billion-new-report-says/ar-AAwbTH3
