Hi i used to fish small jetty at Toscaig just down from Applecross.

Plenty Doggies And a few small red cod,and mackerel spinning.

Fishing there can be pretty good from I hear - Midgees are worse than up here in Lewis though.

 

Their open boat competition last year was bit of a dissapointment I hear, and no one was really trying hard apart from the fellow who won it, no idea who it was though ... just going by what I heard.

FROM SOMEONE WHO CAMPED OUT THERE and just survived ,honestly woke thinking it was still night with the amount of midges on tent. :mad:

 

Toscaig is a realy nice place to fish if u get awee bit wind to blow midges away :)
