Scrabster Report - 09 July

Woooooohoooo!!

 

Went out on a private vessel from 10.30 - 14.30 and had some serious non-stop fishing. Around 150 macks despite trying to keep them off by using pirks - averaging around 33 cm. If we could get thru the blanket of macks then it was treble or quadruple hits of Cod or Pollock at around 5lb per fish - most Cod & Pollck went back okay and I think we managed at least 250 fish between 3 anglers.

Macky, to the best of my knowledge Scholies are picked up from the shore but that seems to be it. So I'm gonna try for a decent one in a month or so
