Fishing marks in cornwall

Does anyone know any good fishing marks in the west of cornwall for my first bass of the year (EVER)

Welcome, all I can say is ....keep your guard up, and bob and weave .

Will you be from shore or on the water??

If your on the water, go visit Looe.

Looe island has some cracking ground off to the right, called the slimers,large upstands of rock covered in thick kelp, holes and cracks everywhere, good Bass in amounst it all.

I only know north cornwall from Trevos Poin to Bude Bay

I'm fishing from the shore . Mostly around mounts bay . However am looking for some marks on the north coast . Weather lookin pretty bad for the week. Might try sunday if wind calms down .

SOUTH COAST TURNS UP THE BEST FISH MATE. NORTH COAST ALWAYS SEEMS TO HOLD A LOT OF SCHOOL FISH. WHAT METHODS & BAITS ARE YOU USING?

Good mackeral, wrass gars only fished there 3 times mostly been a bit further north of padstow, Rock Trebethric, port gavarn for good bass with strong northerly and Port QUIN is so pritty and the wrass fishing exelant.
