My Sister sent me 2 Pike fly, do a google search and just put in Fulling mill.

The 2 she sent me were code 250410 Cooper glitter pike fly S1/0 and code 250810 Dragon pike fly S1/0

 

I tried to search the site for a picture but it was not working for me.

 

The difference is that all the glitter is attached to the hook then the head seems to be connected to the hook and mainline by a link with and eye either end. I will try and scan a pic.

Busy now finishing off your order Alan(covered in poxy resin again!) - goes with the territory.Off to a local craft store in a mo with young Snatcher looking for new tying materials. When I get back will do you a couple of poppers. Will also check out that site you gave me and will do you one of those if I can work the construction out!

Alan that site is very interesting,have saved it to favourites. That scale effect on the pike flies I wonder how it is done - anyone know.Gonna get a beer from the fridge for inspiration and then "invent" a pike special for you.Lets see if you can tellwhich one it is when you open the box! LOL

Nowt to it Tack,tying up sea flies is a doddle compared to small trout flies. Do not know if I could still put double split wings onto a size 14 hook plus the old lamp oil is getting down as well.We will have you tying up good flies in a couple of lessons.
