The Best LED Light I have Ever Bought!

I'm big on buckets these days. My mate just got me a new one, in exchange for bait and bits that I supply when he comes fishing. Bright yellow 'invincible' one from The Range. Amazingly versatile bits of kit. I use mine for transporting kit, shovelling sand, sitting on, chopping up bait on, defrosting bait in, etc...

Anyone tried these led lights with rechargeables? Mine doesn't seem to work and I don't have normal batteries lying around to test it with.

I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work with rechargeables

I finally managed to get my hands on a couple of them they are truly amazing with the ammount of light you get.

Something to do with them being 1.2v compared to normal battery 1.5v or something? I'm not sure to be honest. Is anyone using rechargeables successfully?

Dan - if nobody's got back tomorrow, I'll dig mine out of my fishing bag and try it with some rechargeables.

Sounds like I need to go to my local Asda then Are they switch operated or just one of these touch to start gizzmos with an in built timer.

any tips on water proofing them without affecting the light to mutch?

My son picked it up for me yesterday ASDA in Wallsend.His girlfriend said it was the last one in the store.

 

I will just keep it in the car door,so handy for stuff like map reading,searching in the boot for stuff,if need be checking under the bonnet,checking under the car
