Funny that, I've just had my left over squid for tea!

Fried in Garlic and with tomato, carrot and potato (all home grown!).

I'll have the pouting tomorrow :)

LOL... yup...

funny that I still eat cold raw sweetcorn out of a tin.......

got into the habit course fishing years ago and can't kick it.

I went to see a phyciatrist about it......

He said I was a Paranoid Schizophrenic psychopath... and couldn't help me at all.. :(

I don't believe him, I think he might be out to get me and I am in two minds wether to kill him or not :D

Mullet anglers are never hungry :)

(thought it would be nice to have some stale cheese to go with the stale bread now and again!)

I tried to get a dropnet a while back, remembering one my dad usedto have which was fairly small.it was made of steel including the netting, I have since found out that this is called a prawn net.

they are not that difficult to get hold of try tackle shops near piers or try google!

i ended up getting lucky at a boot fair paid £3 for one in fair nick, caught some monster shrimps in the medway with said net, used them for bait but no joy on this trip.

a lady was dropnetting for prawns on west bay pier 2 years ago, she pulled up & found a 6lb sea bass in the net.

her husband cant pick up his rods now without her askin if he wants to borrow her net

we regularly used to fish from a pier, when we were kids, and always used to drop down a prawn net, made from an old bike wheel.we used to catch loads of prawns, to use as bait, and what we didnt use as bait we used to take home to scoff later! a winner all round! :D
