4 trips, fifteen fish, but still very slow, mind you I kept blanking last year, still haven't this year......touch wood.

First trip for me is at Easter as usual. So nothing so far.

Talked the wife into videoing me fly fishing today for half an hour. Only got a couple of small fish but her reaction on the firstcast is rather amusing:)

First trip of the season I managed to winkle out a couple of 2lb Rainbows at Grafham yesterday afternoon. Both took size 12 black buzzer on a floating line with a 6lb flourocarbon leader.

I haven't had the chance to go yet. I'll probably go next month. But i'll have to get myself a rod licence. I'll have to buy a coarse and a fly fishing licence.

Same license covers you for both Nathan, read it. Coarse and non migratory trout.i.e. Sea Trout.

Well almost got of the mark today, Put one of my dead bait rods away for a while and got the fly rod out. Three takes all came off

Had my first trip to the Harray Loch on Sunday(4th). Caught two nice wild browns, not large but very energetic and in good condition.

This was my first success in my short fly fishing career. I was more pleased as I was on my own and had to make my own decisions as to fly etc. Perhaps I am learning a bit.
