Nope everything I have tried did not work :blink::giveup:

I have photoshop's CS2, CS3 and CS4 installed and I can open a Canon 400D RAW (CR2) file in all of those three versions of Photoshop.

 

PSCS4 uses camera RAW 5

PSCS3 uses camera RAW 4

PSCS2 is unknown but uses an earlier version of Camera RAW, probably 3.6

Adobe Photoshop CS2 v9.0

Adobe Photoshop CS3 v10.0

 

never managed to download any Adobe RAW stuff being an absolute Luddite!!! :giveup:

Two questions team.Bearing in mind I am the last in the line of Luddites treat me gently :rolleyes:

 

So I saves a photo in RAW on my Canon 400D.When revieving the shot all I get is a black screen,is this normal????

 

Young Snatcher has installed CS4 for me.We think we have aquired a RAW file ok? it just shows as a black screen,where do I go from here ???? :huh:

G'Day Snatcher, from one Luddite to another.

 

what i do is go to my pictures where all the thumbnails are and at the top of the screen is a button says preview, click on the drop down arrow then photoshop and it just opens in PS as a NEF/RAW picture.

 

 

Hope this helps.
