Elton

Recommended Posts

Well Ive caught both Andy and Ive never needed to hold on to a tree or do the Vagabond shuffle up the bank for either. :)

In all fairness Lutra thats only because the old duffer wears his slippers when he goes fishing now and didnt want to get them wet......

(best go carefull here as even though Daves about 105 he most likely can still out run me!)

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

Well there you go Elton and I couldn't possibly argue but I have to ask, surely you've caught enough of both to have to come to some sort of conclusion yourself or was this just suitable question to get Harry Hill into the equation??...in which case, I applaud your deviousness and sense of childish behavior...... ;)

.....Regards......Andy...... :)

Also depends where you fish, you cannot compare a commercial lake pike to a river pike, the commercials give in a lot easier.

I don't fish for carp, the designer carp fishermen have lost touch with the sport.

Give me a barbel on the Trent any day, better fighters than the pike and carp.

Its a shame youve got such a bee in your bonnet over Bardney EW as you would fit in really nicely here! Ive never fished a "commercial" pike water but should imagine its quite a horrific experience.

Oi and just cause I happen to agree with you dont go thinking youve found a friend ,trying to MSN me ot asking for signed pictures!

Is that not true of carp as well?

lutra, I am not really a carp man, although I have fished for them at the A1 pits with a few of the lads.

Is this the same lads that have lost touch with the sport?
