the same report was in the Surrey Advertiser a few months ago ,it seems to be another excuse to charge huge fee`s for the few that can afford it

I must agree with Chester 100% on this one. When stating that there are only 15 pegs it is obvious that membership places will have to be fairly limited and the ordinary bloke just aint gonna get a look in. As I live in the North does it mean I would have to drive down there with all my tackle to have it inspected? How do I prove I can handle big fish? I can show photographs of me holding a few 20lb+ but that dosen't prove that I know how to handle them.

I forsee this venue becoming an elite fishery for the minority with deep pockets and those who are so called "names". Ah well so it goes.

I feel better now that is off my chest anyway.

How do the rest of you feel, am I just being petty and jealous???

The thought did cross my mind that if they are to get government funding then the fishing should be "Open to All"

 

It doesn't sound quite right to me
