Fishing on sand!

Recommended Posts

If you bait in and around your open patch regularly, the carp will soon enlarge it for you at the same time they become accustomed to feeding there.

If you're fishing on sand, shouldn't you be using beachcasting gear ?

in answer to steve's question, my opinion and reasoning for using short hooklinks is usual the fish doesnt get much room to mess around with the hooklink, so they suck it up, and then because it is such a short hooklink, BAM!! the hook has got a hold and the fish is off, not sure for heavy leads so il let Common carry on now.
