Fishing with 3 rods

for my own fishing i stepped down from 3 rods to two rods. Not because i had to or was forced to but because i wanted to.

 

Yes 3 rods does give you an added advantage of an extra bait in the water but if you cant get a bait into a spot with one rod. as already mentioned IMO less is more on the waters i fish (even though i still blank lol)

I normally fish with three rods, two out for carp and then I set up my match rod and float fish for roach, etc. Gives me something to do while I'm waiting for the little carpies to start biting .

In summer I use 2 lead rods and have a third rod set up with floater gear ready for casting to fish on the surface.

i sometimes use 1 sometimes 2 every now and again 3 sometimes4
