A Fox x pod......I find it really fiddley to put together and the banksticks often get stuck in the x bit !!!.

Gone back to ordinary bank sticks.

Fox swingers (original models) absolute carp(sp). Don't know what the later versions are like as I lost faith and didn't buy 'em.

Without a shadow of a doubt the JRC defender Bedchair, OK it is cheap but i am only a small guy and I had 3 different ones collapse on me first time I used them!

Shakespeare rod holdall about three years ago, 6 foot job for three made up rods and three in bags. It must have been 5 foot 11 inches long, honest.

Almost had to bend the rods to get them in.

For me it has to be Daiwa sensitron alarms, bought 3 of them £80-00p each out of the wifes club book. Never had any-thing but trouble with them, battery leads kept breaking at the plug on part, batteries too tight to get in and out when they needed changing, worked when they felt like it, (for ever taking a "holiday" when you needed them to work). :mad: :mad:

 

I ended up getting 3 Fox micron Es to replace them. Very basic but reliable. These have NEVER been one bit of trouble to me, so I would never go back to the more expensive end of the range of alarms.
