  1. Go to http://www.catchmorecarp.com They have a pretty good section on how to tie and make various rigs
  2. It is certainly isn,t a new method payara, like peter said,we used to load up 2 or 3 hairs with the particle we where using at the time, sweetcorn, chick peas etc but i stopped because i was worried about the particle masking the hook point(i was a worrier back in those days) Hows life peter
  3. www.catchmorecarp.com has a lot of starter info
  4. Sorry to break up this torrid love affair gents but has anyone used the specs for actually fish spotting   I have heard how well there made and how cheap they are ,but some glasses are better at reducing glare than others, thats all
  5. Had a similar problem with Bevans Tackle of Essex   but found Summerlands Tackle(www.summerlands.co.uk) cheap and reliable for line etc Danson Angling,JKTackle and Tackle Box all excellent mail order
  6. aanthony, thats just the Hurricane ,i got it when they were on offer for £50 Alright for keeping the wind off you,but thats about it
  7. I,ve got the Hurricane shelter and it is a pain in the arse to put up ,i,ve got the Profile as well and it is the best shelter/brolly you could ask for . Contrary to what people say  there is nothing wrong with it and it keeps me perfectly dry.
  8. Are we talking carp fishing raz???? If so,i wouldn,t be too despondent,it is the slowest time of the year, plus you have to take into account the type of water you are fishing, head for heavily overstocked "pastie" waters this time of year for the best chance of getting your stick bent.
  9. Only second hand ones available now Check out these web sites http://www.carptackletrader.com http://www.fishydeals.co.uk I would be very surprised if he found any has they are in great demand from carpers You can get smaller versions but only from the States Daiwa SS 2600 http://www.cabelas.com had them in last year but not sure about now.
  10. My m8 runs a small bait company that sells a full range of "proper" CSL pellets, fast breakdown betaines etc cheap and his own range of ready rolled freezer baits including the"Big Fish mix" spicy red bird mix etc etc mailto:stecobbold@hotmail.comstecobbold@hotmail.com
  11. Just a cheesy fishing diary for me It was off my 6 year old son though for Xmas
  12. My Maver SF5000s big pit reels. You think you have a good reel in the Daiwa Emblem S ?? These Mavers are Emblem Z eaters, i think they are better than the Infinity BTRs,and i,ve used both. The clutch is the best on the market, bar none, probably because of the 13 BALL BEARINGS. And all for £80 See them at web page AWESOME
  13. I seemed to have stumbled across something. Just saying what i saw, thats all
