Where will it all end

Not wanting to uncork the ECHO genie but did anybody read in Carp talk about Gary Lowes capture of the Amphibian. According to Ian Russell he received hundreds of malicious & abusive texts accusing him of being a disgrace to English Carp fishing!!

What a sad reflection of some peoples attitude to this fine sport of ours. :(:(

In the same issue there is a guy who has invented a radio controlled Carp Sub, it's a lifesize replica of a 40lber with cameras for eyes - so that you can go looking for the biggest Carp in the lake - & a mouth that holds 8oz of boilies & your rig.

It can apparently simulate feeding by use of an air canister! It's a snip at £3000. Fair play to the guy for inventiveness & he proved its effectiveness on motorway pond by taking the 40 in a couple of hours of fishing.

Not for me though, that just doesn't feel like fishing. :confused:

Peter.

think ,you could invent a radio controlled boily that actually hunts for and hooks this carp sub , could make fishing for the real ones a thing of the past ,with human brain power behind its thinking it would be FAR more fun ,to make it fair the carp would have to "eat" a certain amount of "boilies" each day , the "boilie" user would disguise his bait so the "carp" would accidentally take it ,great fun ,maybe this could be from the comfort of your front room to get the correct pallor for a computer gamesplayer :)

Chesters you might just have hit on the ultimate aim of this technological drive in Carp fishing...angling for mechanical Carp!

There's benefits mind, we could program them to feed on bright sunny days & get rid of all those awkward dawn & late night sessions, think about it no more missed pub binges, footie matches oh yes there's room for manoeuver here. :P:P

It would never work though, you would have to ban mobile phones & radio bite alarms in case they messed around with the fly by wire Carp, then what would be the point in going fishing

And restrict your fishing to the thirty second of march. :rolleyes:

Alive without breath,

As cold as death;

Never thirsty, ever drinking,

All in mail never clinking.

na the phone could be an addon ,the carp if it spotted the "undercover" boily could text you at your favorite pub ,you could then text it back with instructions , with a g3 phone it could also show in realtime the "suspect" in colour :)
