Recieved from the American Recreational Fishing Alliance:

To me this highlights the case that to become a manager, first of all the brain must be removed. Then list all of the reasons why the proposed policy won't work in the will work column and it is accepted, just as jersey have. Same as the old addage, never make a good man up. fwiw i would favour gill tagging if there is proven that there is a problem with black fish selling in relation to the stock but it must target the crimms, and to offer them to the highest bidder, sounds just like managers whom i have described.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

You will just end up with the same situation you have in the bass nursery areas. The honest law abiding angler is restricted whilst those doing it for cash will totally ignore any laws and continue as usual.

Do you know of this acutally happening in the bass nursery areas, any court cases and has it been reported? Is it the case of the managers not policing the laws already in place would you say.

Thanks for the link Glennk i have seen this one, unfortunatly, with this type of reporting it's all emotive and paints a really bad picture, where is the proof, evidence that this is fact as opposed to hearsay and pub talk. This is the very thing that these managers base their legislation on. They say that the existing laws are not working so they look at others within the fishing community and blame. At present who are the easy target, yes it's the good old rsa as they haven't any legislation set up to hinder them. Hinder what type of activity i ask. It ain't back door selling, it don't happen with the rsa as again where are the court cases. The only community that haven't been targeted are the non-licenced commercial fishermen who might just be percieved as back door selling. Are these the ones this clip is trying to portray, if so certainly the rsa need to be distanced from it, so do the commercials. Are we saying that the managers with the existing legislation are not getting the pound of flesh out of them, because this type of clip certainly appears that to show that is the case, to the detriment of the rsa, and also the commercials.

That film clip showed absolutely nothing. It was the worst piece of journalism I've ever seen.

It was shown at this years BASS AGM, where the majority of the audience sat aghast at the horror unfolding before their very eyes. The sound of the commentator telling the camera about the four bass that the criminals had caught, was almost too much for some of them to bear and they had to cover their ears to save them from seeing any other terrible acts descibed. God only knows what would have resulted had the cameraman been able to hold the camera still enough to actually capture the dead fish on film. I think there may have been casualties. Just as well that the sea inside the sheltered bass nursery area was too rough to for the journalist to say for sure whether the boat they tried to film was fishing illegally for bass. As it was, the boat they were filming from was pitching around so much, in the huge seas, that filming bass capture was impossible. A good job, then, that he only managed to film the fishermen catching a mackerel, because I think being told that someone was fishing for bass from a boat within a bass nursery area could have sparked a revolution.:lol::lol::lol::lol:
