Parcel Force

I've been given a tracking number for a parcel which was posted to me on Saturday morning but the Parcel Force website is saying:-

 

"We are currently unable to confirm that status of your parcel. Please check the number and try again."

 

Does anyone here know how long it takes to get into the system, I've tracked other items before (not with Parcel Farce) and they usually show up straight away.

 

I'm not really in any doubt that the parcel has been sent and I'm asking here first cos I thought I'd get a quicker and more sensible answer than from Parcel Farce, before I take it up with the sender.

I have used Parcel Force tracking system in the past and it is usually excellent.

I suspect that as your parcel was posted during the weekend, the information won't be on their system until this afternoon, when it actually arrives at a transit point.

aha youve learnt the silly system they use ,if its never delivered it will never show on the tracking thing (same as signed for letters) it only pops up on the computer when a signature is obtained.its also not even registered as sent until a next "working" day which sat isnt .officially its posted today

other versions use step by step reports where it is at a certain times

Thanks for replies, it's now appeared on the system (only taken 48 hours) and has made it far as Newport, I'm not expecting it till Wednesday, but did expect to see something sooner re the tracking.

it only pops up on the computer when a signature is obtained

 

 

They must single you out for special treatment Chesters.

 

It's not arrived yet but is definitely being tracked.

I think chesters is confusing Parcel Force with Royal Mail.
