Sad to see he passed away, was great daily entertainment and seemed a really nice guy.

 

That Ferret biting tv clip of him in the 80s is a classic !!!

Didn't realise he was ill just looked on teletext

and said that he had heart surgary a couple of days ago

Thought he was one of the biggests prats on tv. Sad to hear of his death though, I read the other week that he was ill.

Sad news indeed,he will be missed by millions who followed his very popular show.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

 

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

Past many a fun half hour watching countdown in my student days (mainly looking at carols arse), never managed any words longer than 4 letters and most of them werent allowed. I was sad to here he had died.

i worked with him many times and despite being the amiable chump he always appeared to be on tv, he was always a good person to work with. he'll be missed
