Wingham for sale

Recommended Posts

I had a chat today with a guy who lives within half a mile from Wingham lakes, and he told me the lakes are up for sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I followed this up, and there is a guide price of £270,000, this for all the lakes and surrounding land totalling 169 acres. The Church commisioners are also selling some farmland adjoining the lakes.

The estate agents told me bids (sealed) have to be in by Sept 28th.

The lakes complex and surrounding agricultural land parcels have been advertised for a number of weeks now, but notice that the lakes including the surrounding land are sold with a protected lease to the current operator ( our friend ) until long into the future.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

Can I just add that although I dare say there are lots of questions people would like to ask here, Steve is unable to answer any of them. Please respect his wish on this matter.
