Independence Day. The captured alien pilot was asked "What do you want us humans to do?" The alien simply replied "Die!"

 

I find most sci-fi films way inferior to books, especially as I prefer "hard" science fiction. In particular I don't like "science fantasy". There's rarely any science - they're really just adult fairy tales!

 

Even the films of good sci-fi books often get ruined on the big screen. A classic example was Isaac Asimov's "The Bicentennial Man", with the lead played by Robin Williams who totally misinterpreted it.

Taks note Note ALIENS - a far supperior film than ALIEN (IMO).

 

Also Yoda - say no more where Sci Fi is concerned. Too many lines to remember.

 

Also Natasha Henstridge (sp) - Species. Pure Sci-Fi Class - saw it again last night. :P
