guitar amp problem urgent

do crate gx 15 amps have an automatic cut out I went too near it with everything turned up and the amp went dead any advice please...rob

has it got an internal fuse?

unlikely to die just from being turned up too loud, thats what guitar amps are for!

look for a black sticky out thing on the back of the amp, similar diameter to a 5 pence piece, with a slot for a flat headed screwdriver, that what they often look like

turned a dangly thing in the back seems to be ok now . dont you just love this technical jargon thanks for your help Jeepster...rob
