Another good angler off to that great pond in the sky. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.

These annoucements, which sadly are now getting more frequent as there are fewer and fewer angling greats left with us today, always bring that immediate period of reflection and sadness.

 

At least we will still have their books and articles to read which will be with us forever.

Goosequills post has made me think.Instead of feeling sad at the passing of people such as Barrie maybe we should really just rejoice in the fact that these people have been part of our lives and that they have left so much for future anglers.

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!
