now i know to use a badger instead of a lobster pot, all i need to know now is what rivers in my area have got them in. i know they are around here cos i had some from the indian the other night, in the guise of a "king prawn curry"

Nights are better for sure.

 

Winter time and they slow down so your results may not be as good as during warmer weather.

can i come & play with your club then, as long as i only catch the signals. i'm not a course fisherman, cort a trout once but didnt like the way it whistled when landed, reminded me of rupert & the whistlefish, and we all know where that led !!!

rupert gets a whistling fish in a bowl & it turns out to belong to some oriental king, rupert ends up locked in a cage up a pole in the sea, bit like on time bandits
