FISHING could be banned in Sandall Park because of concerns for wildlife.

Doncaster Council officers say they have come across numerous instances over the years of animals being injured because of fishing equipment.

One only has to look at the

Director of neighbourhoods and communities
probably does not know what a fishing rod looks like. It's the old H/S issues again being applied in a liberal coating to cover all possible facets whether it fits or not.

 

If it does not generate money and is more of an inconvenience than it is worth BAN IT is the usual course of action, the fact that others derive pleasure from it is not a consideration.

This is the same lot who banned angling at Cusworth Hall earlier this year. They said that anglers would disturb the voles!

After reading that link it would appear that dog shite is a bigger problem than anglers

 

It's more popular with the eco nuts than angling though
