Don't get me wrong sitting in my garden 9 miles from Stanstead airport is bliss at the moment. Not only are there no planes but there is little traffic going up the M11 due to the airport closure. I am just bemoaning the modern trend towards risk aversion that is claimed to be risk assessment. i am even more convinced this is an over reaction now i have found out that its the Met office who are predicting the scale of the problem when they couldn't forcast thier way out of a wet paper bag and are completley untrustworthy when it comes to stating the risk from so called climate change.

take a look at my blog

 But its not the "met office" who are responsible for the other countries!

(i agree with you they are dreadful)

The decision to fly or not, doesnt come down to them, (thank goodness)

There are individual national and joint European air traffic organisations that decide that.(Eurocontrol)They co.ordinate european air traffic movements.

 i Dont think it will be a problem with a car or boat engine Barry! The Ash was falling in Exmouth, East Devon this morning. A light grey colour.

Just seen on the web, that all Spanish airspace is now open, exept for Barcelona, which they think can open by 19.00 hrs. We have had winds from the west all day, its pushed the dust out, (to France).

**** Stop cheering Barry****

yer but, i have to drive past exmouth to get to paignton :fishing::boat::fishing1::help: , i also don't care what colour it is, no, i don't want none of it.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

There is a meeting via video conference tomorrow between the members of the EU transport ministers, to see what action if any can be taken.

Spain is going to offer its airports (there are 47) to recieve transalantic flights, and flights from closer countries, that would otherwise land in european countries further north. People could then continue their journeys by rail or coach to their original destination.

This is of course, if the ash continues to stop aircraft landing in their original destinations.

They are quick to spot an opportunity

I was due to fly in to Cuba on Tuesday, but I think there is little chance of that now, so It looks like Dorset in the Caravan; I wonder if there are any Pollack about?
