I'm looking for a rod for some tench and bream fishing on the feeder/lead . I have seen the above rod for sale and know of the quality of the Harrison rods and blanks . However , i have no idea what would be the going rate for this particular model so would like a rough idea of a maxuimum bid ( That should give it away as to where i've seen it lol )

Any idea's ?

Paul, I have bid on several harrison rods in the past but try not to get carried away. Some can go for £50 - £60 others £80 - £90, I think it depends on who is bidding at the time.

It very much depends on who the rod was built by. Factory rods or rods built by "name" builders tend to sell for more than those built by a hobby builder.

That is not to say that they are better but many people buy with a eye to the resale value.

It is likely that the rod will sell for considerably less than the cost of the components and they are almost always good value.

Good luck with it

Thanks Paul, but that one went a bit too hight for me too :)

FWIW that one looked like a factory build, it had identical handle and reel fittings to my Factory built one.
