A question if i may!

Recommended Posts

Simple question.

Stale-ish bread. Stays on the hook much better for long distance casting (for surface fishing) but is it any less attractive to the fish?

Answers on a postcard please :P

I would disagree that stale bread stays on a hook better.

Stale breadcrust will stay on better which you will probably be using for surface fishing but not bread.

The fish wont mind if it's a couple of days old.

If I'm going to be using bread for distance fishing I use a whole slice anyway (fresh). >>. see The Bread Roll rig

Fresh bread is best as it is heavier!

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))
