Species caught in 2016: Alder, Blackthorn, Common Ash, Crab Apple, Left Earlobe, Pedunculate Oak, Rock Whitebeam, Scots Pine, Smooth-leaved Elm, Swan, Wayfaring tree.

Species caught in 2015: Ash, Bird Cherry, Black-Headed Gull, Common Hazel, Common Whitebeam, Elder, Field Maple, Gorse, Puma, Sessile Oak, White Willow.

Species caught in 2014: Big Angry Man's Ear, Blackthorn, Common Ash, Common Whitebeam, Downy Birch, European Beech, European Holly, Hawthorn, Hazel, Scots Pine, Wych Elm.
Species caught in 2013: Beech, Elder, Hawthorn, Oak, Right Earlobe, Scots Pine.

Species caught in 2012: Ash, Aspen, Beech, Big Nasty Stinging Nettle, Birch, Copper Beech, Grey Willow, Holly, Hazel, Oak, Wasp Nest (that was a really bad day), White Poplar.

It is all well and good having a fishin and inviting people,but are you going to put any fish in the river before we come   :D

Aahh now that's a thought. This is why you need to bring a drink so then you have an excuse as to why you will blank... :)

Hopefully the fish should be biting by then, if not we could set the gennie up and run a pc and play Pro Bass or similar:) :)

Delighted to hear of the support for these fish-ins, but anyone like to organise one for late July, before Harvest starts, otherwise I'll have to organise one on my my river( see, I do know what a river is), only snag is these guys with 20m poles will have 14m on the far bank :D:D:P

Hello Stick/Ferret

I went to try and find your stretch of the Soar this morning. I found the gate to the gun club and their hut but where do you go from there? is it down the path that goes past the gun clubs hut?

I asked one of the club members but he said there was another club in the next field. I'd like to come and have go some time.
