Best Catches Of The Season So Far

Been fishing Horsham the last 2 weeks.

 

Fished friday, had a 8lb 8oz mirror carp. 5 mins later i had an 8lb 12oz common carp.

 

In the day must have had easy 30+ carp ranging from around 6ozs to 8lb 12ozs.

 

Last cast fishing on top with bread and it was easy in the mid doubles.

 

Hope to post some of the pics when i get them uploaded onto my computer.

As it was my first one, my tench last week was my best catch so far.

 

In other respects the brand new Okuma Aventa VT1002 reel I bought yesterday on eBay for £60 wasn't a bad catch either I reckon.

Yes Chris, the Mill Farm gravel pit (the solitary chub should have given it away).

 

The best four carp were 8lb, 9¼lb, 9¾lb and 11lb. Nothing huge, but an excellent evenings sport.

 

I doubt that I'll be around that early on Saturday, but have a good one, and let me know how you both get on.
