There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Interest Free Credit is not all that it's cracked up to be. The 'interest' that would have been paid is calculated, and then generally added either to the purchase price or to the credit balance, but generally the former. The retailer gets between 5%, & 15% introduction commission. The finance company rely on the fact that most folk don't settle by the due date and therefore they end up paying inflated interest charges to cover the so called 'free' period, and to cover the fact that some folk actually do settle in time. There is no such thing as a free ride in the 'credit' industry. Cheque spread is probably the best deal, but even then the price might be 'loaded'. An expensive pole on 'credit' might be a cheap pole with a 'loaded' price to cover the expense of 'free' credit, so be very wary. In reality there is no such thing as 'interest free credit'! Someone pays for it, somewhere along the line, namely the punter - you! Deals are NOT deals, they are selling tools, tools that the customer pays for. Double the price and then sell it at 50% off! We all fall for it!

i used to enjoy haggling over the price and waving a bunch of notes in the sellers face (those were the days) now it is illegal to offer a discount on cash if you offer it on intrest free credit  credit is credit whatever they call it .also annoys me that phone boxes cost many times more to make a call although you are paying up front and there is a minimum charge of 20p
