at £150 a week for a square of grass on a camp site i kinder think you are ripped off wherever you live ;)

you have a choice ofcourse not to use gas or electric but the prices will just rise to cover the gap in those that have no choice ,like school holidays if you have kids the prices will rise and more importantly if you cut back today (in my childhood having a fire was a no no my old man was terrified of open or paraffin fires so you used the gas oven!) you have a good chance of falling foul of child services for neglect ,thus there is no real choice and you will pay ,for water its even a monopoly but strangely overlooked

i could easily go without gas but strangely for a person who never had central heating until the early 80's my mrs would certainly leave if i turned it off ,i could live out of a microwave with ease and wear a fleece when it got cold :D my choice has been removed unfortunately and when "want to" turns to "have to" your buggered and you will pay highly for the difference

a chesters1 top tip though if your gutters empty into a soak away rather than use the sewers then you can get a small reduction on your sewerage charges ,small but everything helps as we keep hearing

Dug mine out and installed them 30 years ago. Now they want to put us on the meter, gonna put a couple of holding tanks in and pipe it in to use in the bogs etc. Might consider selling the surplas back into the grid. :D

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

:busted_cop::offtopic: :offtopic:  Off topic off topic o well please excuse the pun.

Our rain water goes back into a holding tank and is then re-cycled when we flush the toilet. We do get a small reduction on our water bill because of this.

We too have a water meter installed but still got assessments sent to us assessed on the amount of adults in the house, size of house etc. I said to them why don’t you just come and read the meter and charge us accordingly? They say they only send someone round once a year to read the meter and then change your meter bill to match the estimated bill. So I have said that I would read the meter and send them the reading every quarter and they can charge us accordingly? They said no. so I said that I will only pay what I have used and why should I pay if you have assessed me wrong? What is the point in having a meter if you don’t read it? I also mentioned privatisation and my feelings on Carl Marx and pointed out to them the small print that I got when I had the water meter fitted and reminded them about the trades description act and what I thought about the injustice of large private company’s holding there customers to ransom.

Hence I now get my meter read every month and it is a third of what they estimated it to be.
