Hello again everyone,

I guess it's kind of tough for me to get on here when all of you are online because of the time differences.

Keep watching this site because Elton and I worked out an agreement to start posting my Bass Fishing articles that until now were only used in the States.

I am very excited and happy to have the opportunity to share my knowledge with everyone here and I hope to learn a lot from all the intelligent people that use this board.

Merry Christmas

I certainly look forward to the bass articles! I've learned an awful lot from US books and magazines, especially about lure fishing, and have been able to relate the ideas to UK pike and perch fishing.

By the way, one magazine I'd especially recommend to UK predator anglers is Walleye Insider, published by the same people who do the better known and excellent In Fisherman. Walleye are very like our zander, but I find the techniques used to catch then in the US are often effective for big UK perch.

Nope chesters1 - just a US Yankee. They don't know about all the good redneck stuff. Grits, chitlins, pack baits, open water in winter, any of that good stuff.

We try and we try to educate those folks but lordy, it is hard. :D

Newt,

My family is from the south so I know all about chitlins and there rest of that nasty stuff. Luckily I was born up here in the good old North, so I don't have the unfortunate joys of eating that junk. :D

JT - I don't eat it (except for grits once in a while). I fish with it. :)

And BTW - since you are an avid basser I thought you'd be happy to know that some of us who target larger catfish have honored the largemouth bass of 5 lbs and up with a special name. Bait. :D:D

(OK, so it's an old joke. I like it)
