Over the years, various promotional companies have sent me samples of "what we could do for your company." However, I've never really liked much of it.

 

Long Eaton Embroiderers sent through this sample, though, and both Julian and I liked it. It's embroidered, not ironed on, and the cap is really good quality, with a decent peak.

 

What do you reckon?

Elton, has it got the adjustable back and does it come in a darker color? I tend to wear my cap/s a lot and they soon get grubby, white or near white would spend all their time in the wash!

I assume they do darker colours.

 

Adjuster on the back is velcro, which I prefer to the plastic ones.

 

The 'dots' on top are breath holes, btw.

 

Not sure on price - Julian will check on it when he's back from the rally in Mull (next week).

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Yep, it's suede, or suede effect. Compared to other caps I've seen, it's very classy.

have you got one in green with fishing magic on :D

a tip for washing them is use the dishwasher (no a real one not the mrs) put it over a bowl ,it will keep its shape eerrhem so i`m told by an american ex employer :) i have never worn one so i dont know if its true ,perhaps newt knows he`s from america

looks great to me, would prefer a darker colour though.. its got to be a better buy than some of the junk I've forked out good money for in the name of angling. :D
