Got me first ever carp yesterday not massive just over 4lb but most enjoyable all the same.

congrats, i pulled my first big fish out about four weeks ago (carp 9lb 3oz). since then ive only pull two more out and one was my pb at 11lb 5 oz (another carp) great feeling isnt it .keep up the good work

after reading "AT" it seems that people get a better, more exiting, fight out of small carp than a monster such as Benson. So i'll agree with you guys. Size doesn't matter

Small carp upto 5lb or so on light float gear give more sport than do 20lbers on the 3 rod optonic 3lb test curve rods e.t.c e.t.c anyday.
