Better than me, you bet she is :) thats one of the reasons for the post card topic.

Do a search for one of my topics, My No is 166, going away for a while. Sonja kept my business going for months as well as visiting me twice a day and nursing me for a long time at home. She never stopped me going on a business trip or going up to Davy as she knew the trips meant more to me than anything else especially the Davy trip.

The 2 trips set me back months and I was banned from fishing for months by the specialist, Sonja had to put up with me not being able to fish, no woman deserves that.

Yes she is better than me and I am a very lucky man.

We were fishing once,2 rods each and had a fish on at the same time, after 5 minutes the 3rd and fourth rods had runs on. Sonja ended up with a rod in each hand while I landed one and put it strait back (20+lb)

Anyway to cut a long story short we had one on the mat and 2 in the net. Never used keep sacks until after that day but used to have 2 in the bag afterwards

Better than me, you betcha :D

Where is Orca, now that is a lady that can fish.

nicly replied alan, and a tribute to female fisherladies everywhere, It seems to me though from the responce on this thread that private fisheries and alike ought to try to provide at least some sort of basic clean facilitys, and maybe we'd see more totty....errrhem ...excuse me I mean to say ....more ladies :D on the banks..

fat, stupid hobbit.

We have just had a weeks fishing holiday and I was very surprised to see a lone lady angler arrive for 3 of the days we were there ,she caught loads of fish and attracted a lot of attention from the men!!!!!!

I am now very worried Nurse Judy, because my wife has just joined a trout syndicate, she did this on Friday, I then discovered she only has 6 guest days a year for me to go as well.

Just knew that would get you going.I just regret not getting her name or asking if she ever looked at An.

Afraid I lied ,She wore normal clothes.Said she usually went pike fishing and her partner liked river fishing ,

However I had a bit of a run it with someone who was fishing the swim I wanted,He had put his landing net and carp mat in the next peg to where he was fishing,it had a lovely wooden staging just right, and I had been trying to get either of these pegs all week,so I asked nice and polite if anyone was fishing there, only to be told It was where the guy preferred to land his fish!!!!

I had a conflab with my other half who hot footed it to the next lake!!!!! and left me to it!!!

The guy very sweetly moved his stuff and I fished there,as I was not catching anything when he was trying to land a large fish and his belongings were being blown away I went and fetched them for him!!!(thought I ought to make amends) He turned out to be really nice and we had a good natter in between fish.

Needless to say I had a rubbish day small perch and tangles by the score!!!!!!!

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site and I think its great. I've been reading posts for a few weeks and have found heaps of information and a few good laughs.

I do have a bit of trouble understanding some things, as I live in Victoria, Australia, where things are, well, a little bit different. So please forgive me if I say something stupid.

Anyway, I love my fishing, whether I'm alone or with a friend, and I reckon more ladys should just have a go and see if they like it.

What I like about fishing, is that it forces me to relax. It dosn't matter if I'm hooken them or not. To me, It's gettin out there and soaking in the nature.

Cheers.
