Hi all,

 

I am looking to buy some kind of barrow as the lakes I.fish generally aren't very close to the car! I mainly do tench fishing in the warmer months and pike fishing in the winter so don't need a massive carp barrow. Not sure which one to go for! Can anyone recommend a suitable one at a decent price?

I bought THIS one from Dragon Carp Direct two or three years ago and it's still doing sterling service, and at £30 (+p&p) it's a good price too. The now do another with built-in bags & etc for £50 (check out the angling weeklies for that one).

 

Before I bought it, I would sometimes use the wheelbarrow from the garden B)

The Argos one is not bad, Not really suitable for long sessions but I use it for day sessions when a large barrow would be overkill.

I also use the argos one, very good for the price although I ended up drilling a hole so the clamps for the handles went into the the main barrow as I had issues with them sliding off while walking with it fully loaded

TBH over the years i have used a couple of the cheaper ones and they didn`t last very long [maybe the way i abuse stuff facwe ] but now have one of the Prestiege Carp Porter ones which is a far better put together bit of kit al be it double the price .

We are not putting it back it is a lump now put that curry down and go and get the scales

have I told you abouit the cruise control on my Volvo ,,,,,,,bla bla bla Barder rod has it come yet?? and don`t even start me on Chris Lythe :bleh::icecream:

cheers for the replies, il have a look around. do you think that side bars are needed to stop thing faling off or not? also i like thd idea ofd a one wheeled barrow so when not on an even surface you can keep it level?
