I have just sent the brief letter below to the e-mail address given, thanks to this list for some of the text ! I'll let you know of any reply.

"Dear Sir/Madam,

I have read with interest the article in the Daily Express on 30th April in which Wendy Turner Webster, presenter of TV programme Pet Rescue, openly supports PETA, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. It is a great shame that Ms Turner Webster has not checked with PETA on their policy regarding pet ownership. They are strongly opposed to any animal having pet status. And yet she is fronting a TV programme that advocates such ownership. It has also been reported that Wendy also enjoys horse riding in her spare time. As a PETA supporter the horse has got to go. Or, will it?

It has to be remembered that the President of PETA recently stated that it would be a good thing if Foot and Mouth Disease spread to the United States to punish livestock farmers. Hardly the kind of utterance we should expect from those that profess to care for animals?

As the production company responsible for this programme, perhaps you would care to comment ?

I look forwards to your response."

Fatboy, on the assumption that fish will be taken for the table occasionally, something which i personally am happy with if it doesn't damge stocks, especially where fish are introduced for that reason (stokies for example) then being taught how to use a priest is a very good lesson.

I passed the badge years ago, but it seems far more complex now (and i'd definatly struggle), maybe we should all have to pass it. I hope that the scouts do respond and i think the education in our sport which is being given to them is exeptional. Well done to you and those like you who encourage these young men.

Sorry, carry on the blitzing of c4 etc, i just wanted to say that.
