regarding your request to programmatically post to the site 24*7, it could be done, but it would be blocked off very very quickly, quicker than I could programme it. It is more efficient for everyone to keep posting manually. That way the attack can keep moving, coming from different IP addresses, users etc. If you want to make it difficult for there automated deletion script to work you could add either spaces to names such as W e N dy T u r n e r, or even better add a few extraneous characters such as

W3e n* dy T *U r N& e R, P~E`T¬A

That makes the pattern matching much more difficult, and will probably mean they have to manually delete for a short time while they re write the scriptNice idea though ;-)

I tried the ( W3e n* dy T *U r N& e R ) idea, so far it has been there for 10 minutes. Still, we will see.

They are not blocking IP addresses which is very strange.

Keep up the good work people.

Have you seen the post at C4 regarding the BSC being informed of their practices, it has been there for over an hour. Are they going to take notice at last. Or is the webmaster at lunch, I wonder.

Keep going, we will win this one big time.

Text of mail sent to the Sun today...

"Dear Sir/Madam,

I have read with interest an article in the Daily Express on 30th April in which Wendy Turner Webster, presenter of Channel 4 TV programme Pet Rescue, openly supports PETA, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. It is a great shame that Ms Turner Webster has not checked with PETA on their policy regarding pet ownership. They are strongly opposed to any animal having pet

status. And yet she is fronting a TV programme that advocates such

ownership. It has also been reported that Wendy also enjoys horse riding in

her spare time. As a PETA supporter the horse has got to go. Or, will it?

It has to be remembered that the President of PETA recently stated that it would be a good thing if Foot and Mouth Disease spread to the United States to punish livestock farmers. Hardly the kind of utterance we should expect from those that profess to care for animals?

Do you have any confirmation that this article is correct ?

I look forwards to hearing from you"

I've also just been contacted by another angler who has had the same response from them.....the reply to both of us came from the same e-mail address, Kerry.Sykes@newsint.co.uk

Her response was as follows:-

"Many thanks for your email that I have passed on to the Sun News team, if

you would like to contact them directly, they are on 020 7782 4000."

Hopefully I will have more contact and I can then talk about the Channel 4 actions on their Internet forums.
