Chris, you forgot to look on my site!

I've a copy for sale at less than the one on ABE. For details click on the link below.

I've just bought another book collection which includes many classic titles. I'm gradually entering them on the system so if you're after a book and can't find it on my website please ask - I may have a copy.

I just had a look and found both links interesting. I bought Successful roach fishing by David Carl Forbes (ex library copy, so it's bound and the dust wrapper secure) for £1 on the second hand market. Steve has just one copy and ABE none.

I also bought a copy of Redmire pool, ex library and equally bound for the same princley sum.

I found that book a facinating read and was really shocked how few fish were caught there in the early days by my childhood heroes. I picked up Modern Matchfishing by Dave King as new for £1.29 from the age concern shop. That was a book I never read at the time and wish I had have.

I picked up a first edition of The book of the perch in pristine condition for £15 and wrapped the dust wafer in clingfilm to stop it getting damaged. Is there a place were you can take such books to be covered properly?

I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness I can show to any fellow - creature, let me do it now, let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

Oooops - sorry Steve :o I tend to look on ABE first when comparing prices or looking for a sensible upper bid on e-bay!

i find Steve`s site hard to read (sorry Steve) maybe a author box a description box and a price box would be an advantage for non aligned readers such as myself :(

and maybe a page for magazines etc
