You better give me his name then, 'cos that's the only cure that might work in my case !

 

I only use fly for mullet - and Phone, I have caught mullet on fly (that's Striped Mullet Mugil cephalus ) your side of the pond. (Goose Island TX) Two Texan anglers who witnessed it were convinced I was crazy.

Our Thick-lipped Mullet Mugil chelo is even more difficult on fly....... AAaaarrrgh !

I have seen (or hallucinated) mullet being caught on the fly and I seem to think I have managed it myself, but I have only witnessed one being caught on a proper fly (other than the more usual Warburton's Fancy) in the open sea. That's what drove me crazy :huh:
