I watched the Match and got the impression that he gave up after the first couple of games.

His footwork and court position was all awry and his body language was that of a beaten man.

If think Henman would have at least tried.............................., but then he is English. ;)

 

problem was you couldn't really tell the difference between Henman trying and Henman not trying.

 

Come on Tim!!!

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

Not much "guts and determination" shown in his match with Nadal, the young Spaniard just rolled right over the Great British Hope. :rolleyes:

I remember many years ago, probably in the '50s listening to a boxing match on the radio. It began with a Northern Irishman against some one else. As the Irishman was doing well he became a Briton. Sunnednly the other guy landed a hay maker and the commentator said, "The Irishman is on the canvas!" :D
